Blessing for the Shabbat Candles

Ba-ruch  a-ta  ADONAI,  E-lo-hei-nu  Me-lech ha-o-lam,
a-sher   kid-sha-nu  bid-va-ro
v’na-tan  la-nu et  Ye-shua-a  M’shi-che-nu,
v-tzi-va-nu  l-hi-ot  or  la-o-lam.

Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe,
Who has sanctified us by His Word,
Has given us Yeshua, our Messiah,
And has commanded us to be a light to the world.

Kiddush (Blessing God for the Fruit of the Vine)

Ba-ruch  a-ta  ADONAI,  E-lo-hei-nu  Me-lech  ha-o-lam,
bo-ray  p-ri  ha-ga-fen.

Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe,

Blessed are You O Lord our God, Ruler of the universe,
Rock of all eternities, You are faithful in all generations,
the trustworthy God, Who says and does,
Who speaks and makes it come to pass,
all of Whose words are true and righteous.
Faithful are You O Lord our God, and faithful are Your words,
for not one word of Yours is turned back unfulfilled.
For You are a faithful and compassionate God and King,
blessed are You O Lord, the God Who is faithful in all His words.

Etz cha-yim  hi  la-ma-cha-zikim  ba,
V’tomche-ha  m‘u-shar.
D’ra-che-ha  dar-chei no-am,  v’chol  n’ti-vo-te-ha  shalom.
Ha-shi-vay-nu  Adonai,  ay-le-cha  v’na-shu-va,
Cha-deish,  Cha-deish  ya-mei-nu,  Cha-deish  ya-may-nu  k’ke-dem.
 

It is a tree of life to those who take hold of it
and happy are those who support it.
Its ways are pleasant ways and all its paths are peace.
Cause us to return O Lord and we shall return O Lord.
Bring us back. Bring us back to You O Lord.
Bring us back to You O Lord as of days of old.
